Many years ago, I suffered a spinal injury resulting in Spinal fusion surgery. Recovery was long and slow and forced me to review my training. As a runner of many years, I felt I needed to try a different route in order to strengthen my back, which led to me weightlifting.
My personal weightlifting journey made me realise I wanted to become a Personal Trainer to assist people in the development of positive physical and mental wellbeing through healthy lifestyle choices.
